A STAR ASSEMBLY IN 2016!! Founded in 1926, The Santa Maria Assembly serves all of the Knights of Columbus Councils in Lancaster County. We are a member of the Pennsylvania East Region of the 4th Degree, and the Calvert Provence. We rotate our meeting locations and events to include every council and church that would like to host an event. Meeting locations are listed below.

Honor Guard Activities

Tuesday October 15, 2024
Viewing for Sir John Beck Sr. Who passed away on July 27 2024. Services will be held in the Philadelphia Area before the October viewing at Snyder on the Lititz Pike from 10-11 am

Sunday, October 20th
There will be a Memorial Mass at Saint Catherine of Sienna, in Quarryville, Pa. Honor Guard requested. Mass at 8am Honor Guard report at 7:30am.

Sanctity of Life Mass sponsored by the Order of Malta will be held at Saint John Neumann Church

Memorial Mass for Deceased Members of Father Daley Council 4191. Mass will be at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church Ephrata Pa at 9:00am and the Honor Guard is requested at 8:30am.

Confirmation request from Sacred Heart Jesus Council Oxford Pa Confirmation will be at 10:00am with Mass the Honor Guard is requested at 9:30am. There will be a luncheon afterwards and we are invited to attend. We have helped this council in the past.

Who are the Sir Knights?

The Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus represents the patriotic dimension of this fraternal organization. Comprising dedicated members known as "Sir Knights," this degree emphasizes principles of patriotism, unity, and the defense of the Catholic faith. Sir Knights participate actively in events that promote civic responsibility and a deep sense of national pride. Distinguished by their unique regalia, including a beret and sword, members of the Fourth Degree embody the ideals of the Knights of Columbus in both their religious and civic duties. Through their commitment to patriotism and active Catholic citizenship, the Fourth Degree contributes to the organization's overarching mission of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
