A STAR ASSEMBLY IN 2016!! Founded in 1926, The Santa Maria Assembly serves all of the Knights of Columbus Councils in Lancaster County. We are a member of the Pennsylvania East Region of the 4th Degree, and the Calvert Provence. We rotate our meeting locations and events to include every council and church that would like to host an event. Meeting locations are listed below.

Honor Guard Activities

Friday April 11, 2025
The Catholic Daughters of America Pennsylvania Chapter will open their State Convention with Mass at St. John Neumann Church 601 Delp Rd. Lancaster. The Mass will start promptly at 4:00 pm. Th e Celebrant for this mass will be Most Reverend Timothy C. Senior Bishop of Harrisburg. The Honor Guard is requested at 3:30 PM. Please plan to attend.

Saturday April 26, 2025
Assembly Memorial Mass at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church 320 Church Ave. Epharta. Mass will be celebrated at 5:00 pm by a priest from the parish. Honor Guard is requested at 4:30pm.

Charter Night will begin immediately following Mass in the gym from 6:00to10:00pm Cost is 35.00 per person pay to Greg Schlotterer April 15th.

Sunday April 27, 2025
Devine Mercy Sunday the Honor Guard is requested at St. John Neumann Church at the 11:00 AM Mass. Along with a request to march around the church carrying the Devine Mercy image.

Who are the Sir Knights?

The Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus represents the patriotic dimension of this fraternal organization. Comprising dedicated members known as "Sir Knights," this degree emphasizes principles of patriotism, unity, and the defense of the Catholic faith. Sir Knights participate actively in events that promote civic responsibility and a deep sense of national pride. Distinguished by their unique regalia, including a beret and sword, members of the Fourth Degree embody the ideals of the Knights of Columbus in both their religious and civic duties. Through their commitment to patriotism and active Catholic citizenship, the Fourth Degree contributes to the organization's overarching mission of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
